MVP is a one of a kind product designed with the idea to facilitate every day service commitments of ensuring public safety and to ensure the safety of the law enforcement officers. MVP combines a DVR system and a fully functional PC and is built using Microsoft .NET architecture, which gives it unlimited opportunities for future development.
Integrates DVR capabilities with in-vehicle systems
MVP enables police departments and other public safety agencies to maximize their existing investments through complete integration with the following in-vehicle systems: Mobile data computers (MDCs) Multiple Radar and Lidar systems, GPS, Lights, Siren, and Brakes.
MVP’s service-oriented architecture enables secure and rapid integration with other proprietary hardware and software systems. MVP has 5 USB inputs for adding multiple peripherals(such as mobile printers, keyboards, etc).
MVP supports the following configurations:
- Stand Alone
MVP can be deployed with a dedicated touch screen and keyboard, enabling officers to run Mobile CAD, Records, Microsoft Office applications, in addition to the DVR. This is a very cost-effective solution for agencies not employing in-vehicle laptop computers
- Laptop
MVP can be operated directly from existing in-vehicle laptops via a single CAT-5 cable
Heightens situational awareness and control
MVP enables commanders to view live video feeds from vehicles, examine real-time telemetry, and remotely operate the in-vehicle DVR through 3G, Wi- Fi, and WiMAX networks. When vehicles are equipped with GPS receivers MVP can pinpoint the location of each vehicle via Microsoft Bing Maps. This is supported when viewing live video or when playing back archived recordings.
