What is Secuvoice?
Secuvoice is a hardware based solution that encrypts the call and authenticates the identity of the user by a special encapsulated encrypting microprocessor, which is integrated into a micro SD memory card. This modified card is placed into the mobile phone just like your normal SD memory card. Secuvoice uses a special encryption technology, developed by the German Federal service for information security for use in the government sector. Unlike the widely spread software encryption solutions, where the software is installed directly on the phone's operation system, Secuvoice is a separate hardware component, which eliminates the possibility of breach. Furthermore the sound quality can be compared to the quality of a normal phone call and it does not reflect on the battery resources, which is a great problem with the software-based solutions.
