TBS Ltd. and the Egyptian Space Agency (EgSA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during the El Alamein International Airshow 2026, expanding TBS Ltd.’s activities in the space and satellite sector.
The MoU covers satellite platforms, subsystems and components, payload integration, spacecraft assembly and testing, ground segment systems and specialized support equipment. It also provides for technology transfer, technical training and the localization of selected technologies and capabilities in Egypt.
Through the cooperation, TBS Ltd. will combine its project development and systems integration expertise with EgSA’s advanced facilities and an international network of specialized technology partners.
With the African Space Agency located alongside EgSA at Space City in Cairo, TBS Ltd. sees Egypt as a natural gateway for bringing European space technology, expertise and industrial know-how to projects across Africa and the Middle East.
