For the second consecutive year, TBS joined AmCham Bulgaria’s defence business mission to
Washington, D.C. and Maryland, held from 11 to 16 October 2026. This year’s mission brought
TBS together with fellow industry representatives as part of the official Bulgarian delegation, which was led by Mr. Alexander Pulev, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy, Investments and Industry of the Republic of Bulgaria.
The mission’s programme included meetings and events within the framework of AUSA 2026,
where TBS met with American partners and leading defence companies to discuss industrial
cooperation and joint projects, alongside a U.S. defence procurement seminar, a forum at the National Press Club on Black Sea security and NATO’s southeastern flank, and a productive discussion at the U.S. Capitol with Congressman Joe Wilson’s team.
The visit continued in Baltimore with the Bulgaria–Maryland Defense Networking Lunch,
organised jointly with the World Trade Center Institute, where TBS presented its capabilities and generated strong interest in cooperation. These exchanges strengthened relationships with business, government and diplomatic representatives.
TBS sincerely thanks AmCham Bulgaria and the mission’s partners for the excellent organisation and support in strengthening its U.S. presence.
We look forward to new business opportunities and closer cooperation with our American
partners!
