Advancing Bulgarian–Egyptian Cooperation: TBS Holds High-Level Meeting in Sofia

At the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Sofia, Staff Colonel Mohamed Fouad Youssef GOMAA, the newly appointed Defence Attaché for Romania and Bulgaria, officially received Mr. Stefan Galabov, General Manager of TBS Ltd., for a meeting focused on expanding defence industry cooperation.

The discussion highlighted the ongoing partnership between TBS and Egypt’s National Organization for Military Production (NOMP), operating under the Ministry of Military Production, and explored ways to further enhance this collaboration. TBS was acknowledged as a trusted partner in supporting Egypt’s modernization and industrial development goals.

This visit also comes at a symbolic moment, as Bulgaria and Egypt will celebrate 100 years of diplomatic relations in 2026. It marks a significant step toward deepening bilateral ties and unlocking new opportunities for cooperation in the defence sector, in the spirit of long-standing friendship and mutual respect between the two countries.
