TBS Co-organizes Round Table with NMU Vasil Levski

TBS co-organizes a round table with the subject “Alarm. Climate Through the Lens of Space” together with “Vasil Levski” National Military University and the Space Research institute of Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. The event will take place on 20 April 2022 and will be accompanied by a photo exhibition. TBS met with the Brigadier General Ivan Malamov, the chief of the military university, and signed an agreement for the establishment of a space research and development laboratory.

After the official signing of the agreement TBS representatives were given a tour of the university complemented with a brief history of the institution, dating back to September 1878. Following the tour was an inspection of the premises where the research laboratory will be located. The lab is an essential phase of the ongoing collaboration between TBS with NMU “Vasil Levski” in the area of space innovations.

The busy day continued with a working meeting with the Deputy Chief for Education and Science of the University, Colonel Assoc. Prof. Eng. Nikolay Urumov, PhD and Assoc. Prof. Vanya Dimitrova, PhD, Head of the Institute “Scientific Research and Innovation” at the University.
