TBS Demonstrates the Bird Collision Avoidance System (BCAS) at Sofia and Varna Airports to Cluster2, Saudi Arabia

TBS Ltd. and Al Manara Investment & Industrial Development Co in partnership with Volacom Jsc, the OEM of Bird Collision Avoidance System (BCAS) demonstrated the functionality of the solution to representatives of Cluster2 OpCo, Saudi Arabia. The Chief of Inspection and Environmental Protection and the Safety & Environmental Manager of Cluster2 witnessed first-hand the operational capabilities of the most innovative bird detection and deterrence solution on the global market at Sofia Airport. Additionally, they had the chance to also experience the potential of the vehicle mountable version of the system, the BCAS Mobile, at Varna Airport.

The Custer2 envoys were impressed by the potential of this unique solution for ensuring bird-free runways for safe take-off and landing. The guests from Saudi Arabia also had the chance to discuss the value of the BCAS in protecting critical assets, exchange ideas and share best practices with their colleagues from Sofia and Varna airports.

Despite the intense program, the guests had the opportunity to also visit the state of the art manufacturing facilities of Volacom and observe the entire process of the making of BCAS.
