TBS Expands its Space Innovations Partnership with NMU “Vasil Levski”

TBS Ltd. expanded its space innovations partnership with the National Military University “Vasil Levski. On 16 and 17 May 2022 representatives of TBS Ltd. met with the Dean of NMU “Vasil Levski” Artillery, Air Defense and CIS Faculty in Shumen, Colonel Associate Professor Dipl. Engineer Dilyan Dimitrov. The meeting was organized and attended by the Deputy Chief of NMU Colonel Associate Professor Dipl. Engineer Nikolay Urumov and the Head of Institute Scientific Research and Innovation Associate Professor Mrs. Vanya Dimitrova.

The purpose of the meeting was to acquaint the Dean of Branch Shumen and his team with the status of the joint program between TBS and NMU for the development of payloads for nanosatellites. We have also discussed the involvement of the officers and cadets form the Shumen Branch in the venture. Action plan and next steps were considered and planned.

The second day of the visit included an outing to a nearby shooting range where the TBS representatives and their hosts participated at final practical exam of the future Artillery and Air Defence officers of the Bulgarian Army. The cadets displayed their excellent preparation by successfully destroying the enemy targets. Congratulations to all of them for passing the practical examination.
