TBS Ltd. hosted the Regular General Assembly of the Bulgarian Defence Industry Association “Acad. Stefan Vodenicharov” (BDIA) at its Sofia headquarters. The gathering provided a valuable forum for industry representatives to exchange views on key priorities, upcoming initiatives and opportunities to strengthen cooperation across Bulgaria’s defence sector.
During the General Assembly, three new member companies were formally admitted, further expanding BDIA’s network and reinforcing its industry representation. The Assembly also elected BDIA’s first Chief Executive Officer—a newly established position intended to enhance the Association’s visibility, organisational capacity and operational effectiveness.
TBS warmly congratulates the new members and BDIA’s newly elected CEO, wishing them every success in advancing the Association’s objectives and contributing to the continued development, closer cooperation and international competitiveness of Bulgaria’s defence industry.
The programme concluded with a networking reception, offering participants an opportunity to exchange ideas, strengthen professional relationships and continue their discussions in an informal setting.
