On February 27, 2025, TBS Ltd. proudly served as one of the main supporters of a reception at the Bulgarian Embassy in Cairo, celebrating Bulgaria’s National Liberation Day, marking the county’s liberation from Ottoman rule in 1878. The event was attended by over 250 distinguished guests, including high-ranking officials from the Egyptian government, members of the Senate and House of Representatives, representatives from the armed forces, religious institutions, and the diplomatic corps.

The reception commenced with a captivating performance of the national anthems of Bulgaria and Egypt by the talented Siyana Hedr. Ambassador Deyan Katrachev delivered a heartfelt speech, highlighting the historical significance of Bulgaria’s liberation and the strong ties between Bulgaria and Egypt. He emphasized the dynamic cooperation between the two nations and the commitment to elevate their relationship to a new strategic level.

A notable presence at the event were the Chairmen from factories under the auspices of the National Organization for Military Production, for which TBS Ltd. is the exclusive representative for Bulgaria and the Balkans. This partnership has significantly contributed to the increase in trade between Bulgaria and Egypt.

The event also featured traditional Bulgarian music and dance, contributing to the festive atmosphere. Guests were delighted by the distribution of Bulgarian martenitsi, a symbol of health and prosperity, handed out by the children of embassy staff.
