TBS Signs Partnership Agreement with Space Research and Technology Institute

TBS signs Partnership Agreement with the Space Research and Technology Institute (SRTI) of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS). To signify the cooperation with SRTI, which has already started in the beginning of 2022, TBS has officially signed an agreement for cooperation with the institute on 1 April 2022. The signing ceremony took place in the institute, where form SRTI side the Director Prof. Georgi Jelev and the Deputy Director Prof. Georgi Sotirov took part. This act would further strengthen the strategic intentions of TBS to develop innovative space technologies.

The Space Research and Technology Institute is an institution with more than 50 years of academic history. It was established in 1969 and this year celebrates 40 years form the launch of the first Bulgarian payload in space. Throughout the years the scientists from the institute has 137 publications, 596 citations, has realized 74 projects and holds 4 patents in the area of space technology.
