TBS Supports First DefInSpace Hackathon in Bulgaria 2022

TBS Ltd. is the General Sponsor of the initiative DefInSpace Bulgaria 2022 Hackathon to take place on 3 and 4 June 2022. The event is organized within in the frame of the International Defence Equipment and Services Exhibition HEMUS 2022, Plovdiv, Bulgaria. The main topic of the Hackathon is Space Traffic Management.

DefInSpace 2022 is the first international competition in Bulgaria for innovations with a focus on the application of space technology in the field of defence and security. It was first initiated by the French Space Command in France (Commandement de l’Espace) and organized by the French Aerospace Cluster “Aerospace Valley” in 2021.

Participation in the DefInSpace Bulgaria 2022 is open to persons above 18 years old, students or professionals with up to 3 years of experience, who are willing to solve the challenges posed by the French Space Command related to space traffic management.

As a socially responsible company, TBS’s participation, as a General Sponsor in the organisation of the DefInSpace Bulgaria 2022, is in line with our values to support young talents.

Additionally, it is a natural step for the TBS SAT venture towards creating a community of experts who will work together to create a safer environment in space.
